Chicken Fried Noodles


INGREDIENTS:

250g chow mein noodles
250g chicken cut into bite size pieces
2 1/2 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 cup thinly sliced celery
3 cups cabbage chopped into thin pieces
2 cups matchstick carrots
4 chopped green onion
2 tsp granulated sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1 1/2 tsp ginger chopped into small pieces
2 cloves garlic chopped into small pieces
5 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp oyster sauce

DIRECTIONS:

1. Boil noodles according to directions on package.
2. In a medium bowl take soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and sesame oil mix them together and keep aside
3. Heat oil in a large and deep non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Add chicken and celery and cook it till chicken is halfway cooked through for about 4 minutes.
5. Add cabbage, carrots, green onions, and ginger and saute until veggies are tender and chicken is cooked through for about 4 minutes and add in garlic during last minute of cooking.
6. Add noodles, then pour soy sauce mixture over top and toss to coat.
